Daily Mail – A 21-year-old student has been arrested after she allegedly threatened on social media that she was going to shoot up Emory University’s Oxford Campus the next day.
Emily Sakamoto was arrested Sunday after admitting she posted the message on the popular Yik Yak app, police said. She faces felony charges of making terroristic threats and acts.
‘I’m shooting up the school. Tomorrow. Stay in your rooms,’ reads the message.
‘The ones on the quad are the ones who will go first.’
Police were notified of the post after an officer was called to the Jolley Residential Center, which consists of four dormitory halls on the north side of the campus’ quad, early Sunday morning.
