There is now a restaurant whose concept is based on taking pictures of your food. I’m surprised this didn’t happen sooner. What do you think?
Daily Mail – We’ve all seen them – maybe you are one? – the restaurant diners hunched over their plates earnestly photographing their food before tucking in.
Now there’s a new eaterie concept built entirely around the art of food porn; where the plates come with their own backdrops, the lighting is positioned just-so and the Michelin-sized servings are colour coordinated – all to make for the best possible photo.
The project, dubbed Foodography, is the brain child of Israel’s Carmel Winery and takes place at Catit, a bustling restaurant in Tel Aviv – where it’s attracting smartphone owners from far and wide.
