Daily Mail – A woman who miraculously survived being stabbed 32 times by her ex-boyfriend has gotten engaged to the first responder who helped save her life.
Melissa Dohme’s happy ending played out as she prepared to toss the first pitch in the Tampa Bay Rays game against the Yankees at Tropicana Field in Florida on Monday night.
Boyfriend Cameron Hill, 40, ran out to present her with a baseball. On it, he’d written in red ‘Will you marry me?’
Dohme, 23, looked surprised when Hill walked up to the mound to greet her and then he dropped to one knee and showed her the baseball.
An elated Dohme said yes, and the crowd went wild.
