If you didn’t watch the final game of the Toronto Blue Jays’ series with the Texas Rangers, you really missed a bizarre game.
USA Today – The final game of the Toronto Blue Jays’ series with the Texas Rangers sent most of baseball into pandemonium in the 7th inning. But no place outside of the Rogers Centre was more distraught with the umpire’s decision to award the Rangers the go-ahead run under dubious circumstances. Despite it being the right call, Blue Jays fans were incensed and began littering the field with debris.
That’s when a beer was thrown and the spray landed on a baby and players began yelling at the crowd to turn it down a notch or two or however many notches that you need to turn down before you stop getting beer on kids.
The cascading debris eventually subsided and the Blue Jays eventually won the game in thrilling fashion. But that didn’t prevent police from arresting the man who allegedly tossed the offending brew that splashed the baby.
