A New Orleans lawyer convicted of exposing herself to a taxi driver while intoxicated has been sentenced to a one day suspended sentence and one day inactive probation.

Jennifer Gaubert, 34, was convicted in January of misdemeanor criminal mischief in connection to the bizarre incident that took place in 2012 and was caught on camera.

The driver, Harvey Farrell, made a cell phone video showing an inebriated Gaubert trying to seduce him in his cab.

The case was further complicated by the fact that Farrell was later arrested for extortion after the lawyer claimed he had threatened to make the raunchy video public unless Gaubert paid him $60,000.

The extortion case revolved around an email that Farrell allegedly sent to Gaubert’s attorney demanding money in exchange for his silence, but in the end she could not produce the note.

Prosecutors were seeking to convict the attorney and former radio talk show host of making false statements – a felony – but the woman was found guilty January 16 of the lesser charge of criminal mischief.
