MIAMI (WSVN) — The 15-year-old boy, who police believe, is the gunman who fatally shot a New York City rabbi in broad daylight, in Northeast Miami-Dade, was denied bond.
According to Miami-Dade Police, Deandre Edwin Charles was arrested at around 6 a.m., Wednesday, after a 16-month long investigation.
Sources said the teen, who was 14 at the time of the crime, went on a robbery spree throughout Northeast Miami-Dade and North Miami Beach, on Saturday, Aug. 9, when he ran into Rabbi Yosef Raksin, who was walking to synagogue. Prosecutors believe the suspect set out to rob Raksin. (WSVN)
